Top 10 philosophies to a rich life

Each and every one of us in society has adopted beliefs and philosophies, these becomes the lenses in which we view life from. We share the same planet but experience different worlds.

Below are my top picks for philosophies and beliefs that I’ve adopted and have made a huge shift in my life. I believe these beliefs and philosophies will shed clarity to different areas of your life.

I have everything I need

Thinking from this mental attitude helps you look around your environment and seeing your blessings, recognizing things, information and people who can help you at that stage in life. Its shifting from the mental state of scarcity and lack which blinds you to everything around and only see what you don’t have or need.

You act the way you think. When you need nothing, that’s when you get everything in life.

Make the decision first and the money will follow

The moment you’ve maximized or used up everything around you, the next step will appear. Often times we want to have everything before we even start, but that’s not how it works. You must use up whatever is at your disposal.

When you clear everything, declutter and organize different aspects of your business and self, you are then able to get rid of the unwanted and make room for the next best thing to fill up the space.

Start from Z-A

Create a vivid imagination about what it is you want to achieve. You cannot connect the dots looking forward, you can only do so looking backwards.

This is operating from mind sight and not eyesight.

Finding clarity in your vision is extremely important, this is a way to quantify results. Actions and effort without results become a waste of time.

Change your imaginations and inner dialogues

Your emotions and thoughts must be aligned to the same goals.

Changing your inner dialogues, thoughts and imagination is simply being self-aware of how your mind views things. You must be intentional about having a positive outlook, a productive and creative mental experience.

Everything is first created mentally before it can exist physically. If you think from negativity and all your inner dialogues and imaginations are negative, then you are going to experience negativity in reality.

Don’t let experience be your teacher, only a lesson. Your past will show you how you can’t succeed, you must defy every reason to fail and believe and see yourself winning and only then will you win.

Turn decision making into a habit

We are only ever limited by lack of focus and attention. To change our future, we must be conscious of the decisions we make every day. If you’ve set up clearly defined tasks to lead you to your goals, then you must tell yourself to do the very things that will get you there.

Decision making is a behavior that can be mastered. In the absence of clearly defined goals you are unable to make decisions and therefore you become enslaved by daily unproductive habits like scrolling on social media aimlessly.

Decision making is building discipline.

Expect rewards after challenges

When you’ve decided to move in a certain way, life will test you, every challenge you encounter is meant to shape you, it acts as a realignment tool to keep on track with your vision.

Shifting your perspective from why me which is a victim mentality to I’ll get through it which is self-accountability will make all the difference in your life.

I can guarantee you that on the other side of adversity, its everything you want and need; therefore, an expectation of reward gives you the energy to tackle challenges with ease.

When facing challenges, your mind is normally at its sharpest. Things that were unclear answers that were vague simply start adding up, you are finally able to connect the dots.

Learn to use adversity to your benefits.

Everything is in a season

Change is a normal cycle, its therefore important to remember not to make a permanent decision on a temporary problem. A decision that serves you today may no longer serve you tomorrow. Learn to adapt to change and circumstances, avoid the trap of getting stuck to the familiar.

Anticipate the opposite

When you are aligned to your goals and visions, certain things start working in your favor. People, events and circumstances come together to build you up, inversely the opposite is also true. People, events and circumstances will show up often in a disguise of being good for you but are there to pull you down.

You must develop discernment and kill naivety. You attract everything you want and don’t want at the same time, it’s up to you to learn how to pick and choose.

No one is coming to save you

When you are going through the fire, its moments like these that you feel as if God has abandoned you, you are all alone. These are the moments you must develop self-reliance and self-trust. Do what you must, face your fears.

Often times whatever it is you fear is just an overwhelming emotion of fear and not the actual thing. Outcomes are simply good or bad, if you can make peace with either of the two, when you jump, you’ll either fly or crash, then you’ve understood that the only option that remains is to jump.

Self-analysis

When you step into the world every day, your experiences often have an effect on your beliefs and your thoughts. Its important to sit with yourself and ask yourself why you feel and think the way you do.

Allowing yourself to reflect helps you put everything into perspective, whatever thoughts have built up and cause you worry and inner turmoil you are able to address and release.

Never let emotional storms and heavy thoughts remain unresolved for too long, the quicker you learn to address them the more equipped you become to manage your daily thoughts and emotions and maintain your equilibrium.

If you can master a daily approach, an immediate prompt to address disturbing thoughts and feelings, then no amount of distractions from negative thoughts and emotions will pull you away from the things that actually matter.

Learning and mastering yourself is the prerequisite of mastering your reality.

In conclusion, I hope this article helps you see your life from a different lens and encourages you to make any necessary changes.
